SUPERVALU is a national grocery and pharmacy company with stores ranging from hard discount to traditional and premium grocery formats. SUPERVALU reaches millions of families with their products and services through owned, licensed, franchised and affiliated stores.
Based on our existing relationship with SUPERVALU, our team was approached to assist with in-depth site inspections of 180 grocery stores and 3 distribution centers, located throughout the United States, within a two-week time frame. In addition to the inspections, our team was tasked with developing capital budget costs and performing deferred work required for lease compliance.
We successfully completed these tasks on-time and the scheduled work needed to protect the assets and meet lease requirements.
Furthermore, our team set up a national call network for emergency calls and HVAC preventive maintenance for all 180 sites. CFS was
also engaged to consult on decommissioning several distribution centers with large scale refrigerated space.


The SUPERVALU site inspections of 180 stores made up over 2 million square feet of space, resulting in more than $2 million in
savings.
Because of the successful completion of the site inspections and cost budgeting, CFS was given the responsibility of performing
facility management, property management, construction management and consulting work of all SUPERVALU Surplus Properties throughout the United States.
